Welcome to Darlington RPC

Uniquely, the sport of shooting offers the opportunity for people of both sexes and all ages, whether able-bodied or otherwise, to compete equally. Those who take part come from all walks of life, some approaching it as a high-concentration, highly-competitive sport, others as a relaxing pastime, but all seeking the satisfaction and pride that comes of being able to put a shot in the bull.

If you are new to the area and looking for a local target shooting club, or have always wanted to try our sport but not known where to start, look no further. We currently have members who take part in several shooting disciplines including:

Coaching is available in all disciplines, and there is the opportunity to take part in competitions for those who would like to do so. New members are always welcome regardless of ability. If you are new to the sport you will receive all the instruction and certification you need to safely get started.

Small-bore and air pistol disciplines are shot at an indoor, four-lane, 25-yard range, where we also have use of some excellent lounge and bar facilities for after-shooting socialising.

Full-bore rifle shooting takes place regularly at various outdoor MoD ranges in the region. We are especially keen to welcome those who would like to be active in the full-bore disciplines.
